Powder Coat, or Paint my Rims?

I have 17" Alloy rims (factory paint, silver) on my 2005 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. I don't know if I should paint them myself this summer, or get them professionally Powder Coated (I want them black). What do you think? What are the Pros - Cons of each. Thanks
