Have you ever heard the excuse from a female "You wouldn't treat your mother this way, so respect women"....?

I have heard this before, there are some women who always try to use this as a last resort when trying to get something they know they do not really need. My brother's ex girlfriend use to say that a lot when he would refuse to get her some she had asked him to buy. When my brother refused her, she would always say, "wouldn't you buy it if I was your mom?" My brother would always respond the same way, "1 - My mom would not ask me to buy things she really does not need. 2 - You are NOT my MOM!" =P
