Why did he do that??????????????????????

so, theres this guys that i kindaa have a crush on and today he went up to my friend and was like" hey,how are you" then asked her"whats your name cos i forgot" and then told her "....(my name) loves me" ..what does that mean?..why would he do that..i mean, he doesnt talk to mee alot so were not close or anything we just saay hi when we see each other in the corridors ..i really dunno whats with this guy ..he never talks to me when hes around me ,he doesnt even say hi but when hes like behind me or in front of me in the distance he just shouts "heeey (my name) " ..hes confusing me? but i think he likes me too a nd is just scared, he probably doesnt wanna get rejected or something..cos like 5 days ago he told me i was very hot and also,he sometimes winks at me ..:D :D :D soo yeaah, my question iss "why did he tell my friend that i lvoe him"
