Sprint spikes for 800m?

I have a track meet coming up soon so I have a pair of Puma Complete Sprint 2 sprint spike and a pair of racing flats(adidas adizero mana) so I am wondering which I should wear to the race. And will it be painful to wear the sprint spikes
