Never going into labour????

I am 37 weeks pregnant and I know I still have a few weeks to go but I am just so anxious to get this baby out! My mom has had four kids and she never went into labour..even when they tried to induce.her body just never did. She tried with all four kids to have a l birth but always ended up with c sections. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this? and if so, do you know if it could be hereditary??
