If you saw Governor Palin speaking in Lakeland Florida today, did she seem rather evangelical?

From what I saw, she could have been in church at the pulpit speaking to her flock. How many times did she invoke god in her speech and why do republicans try to use their god as a weapon against others through allusion and innuendo?
