Fellow Liberals, can we agree on helping Mitt Romney win the republican nomination?

As a liberal I would feel more comfortable if Mitt Romney got the republican nomination. Should either win, we would have someone in office that will fight for our cause. Of Course Obama is my choice, and a better choice than Mitt Romney. But I rather if there is a chance if any that Obama may lose, that should he lose, it be to someone that has similar views to ours and Obama.
