Are Alloy Wheel/Rim Repairable? How?

I scratched my boyfriend's 2010 BMW 328i Coupe front right wheel when parking. I normally drive a Prius so the steering wheel is a lot looser compared the the BMW. I also didn't notice his car was considerably low and the tires are considerably thinner. Well, I couldn't wrestle/steer fast enough when parking so I ended up with an 8-inch scuff on the front right wheel/rim. According to bmwusa.com, the front wheel cost almost $400 (just the wheel...not including labor, I presume). Is there a way to repair it? If so, how and how much would it cost?
